Several nominations for election to the US Soaring Hall of Fame have been received and passed onto the members of the vetting board for review. The NSM extends its thanks to those who submitted nominations. Through September 30, the NSM will be home to NASA's traveling exhibit on the Hubble Space Telescope. The exhibit contains images and data on planets, galaxies, black holes, and many other fascinating cosmic entities, with spectacular backlit color images (including the Eagle Nebula and the Hubble Deep Field) and numerous interactive displays. Visitors will be able to "hit" Jupiter with a comet, attempt to put star clusters in order of age, and match before and after images of colliding galaxies. There will also be videos on Shoemaker-Levy (a comet collision with Jupiter), star life cycle animations, the age of the universe and the Hubble Deep Field.
