LCASE was Great! NCASE is Next!
The Leadership Conference on Aviation and Space Education (LCASE) was held Sept. 14 and 15, 2007 in Arlington, Virginia
The next conference will be the National Conference on Aviation and Space Education, set for October 2008, also in Arlington.
Many aerospace education leaders gathered in the Washington area to attend the second Leadership Conference on Aviation and Space Education (LCASE) hosted by the National Coalition for Aviation Education (NCAE).
The LCASE theme was“Priming the Pump - Strengthening Tomorrow’s Aerospace Workforce.”
“We are in a pivotal period of workforce development, educational policy challenges and fewer students with math and science interests. There are opportunities and innovative programs to meet these challenges. Join us to address the future of aviation and space education.” – statement by Kenneth J. Cook, President NCAE
LCASE was a wonderful success, according to many attendees, and in the eyes of the organizers and sponsors. We are now preparing a report summarizing the presentations by leaders in aviation and edcuation, and the comments and observations of the attendees..
While waiting for the report you can access the LCASE 2007 information including speaker and program details at www.lcase.info.
Please also visit the NCASE site to see details of our last National Conference on Aviation and Space Education, and stay tuned as we prepare to announce NCASE 2008, set for October 2008. Visit www.ncase.info, and also please ask to be added to our announcement list!
The National Coalition for Aviation Education represents many associations, industry groups, agencies, and others collaborating to share information and promote aerospace careers and educational programs.
