Aviation Camps

The nature of aviation and space activities depends upon striving for excellence in science and technology. It also promotes the development of creative and logical thinking skills along with the teamwork concept for problem solving. What better way to stimulate learning and learn these important life skills than through the exciting experience of "hands-on" activities that explore the wonders of flight and space exploration. The camps listed here are offered by NCASE members and others. Please note this is a listing of camps only, not an endorsement.

For information, please contact the member listed. The NCASE serves as a compilation resource only and does not have specific information on individual camps.

Air Academy Camps

Sponsor: EAA
Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Fun and discovery combine for an experience that young people can find nowhere else at the EAA Air Academy, a series of weeklong camps designed to introduce young people ages 12-18 to the aviation world. Campers are engaged through a variety of hands-on activities while staying at the EAA Air Academy Lodge in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Experienced aviation instructors help them delve into flight through studies, hands-on demonstrations, flight simulation, and other exciting activities.

The EAA Air Academy will remain on hiatus until 2022, with this summer's sessions in Oshkosh canceled due to the difficulty of scheduling multiple weeks of education sessions involving young people from throughout the country.
